Q. How can I get a tattoo as part of the Ink Twice campaign?

Eligible participants must apply directly on the website. Click on the city where you would like to have your tattoo covered up and fill out the pre-populated email. Please ensure that you have read the terms and conditions (under the ‘Apply Now’ button) and complete all the fields in the email.

Q. How will I know if I have been selected for a tattoo cover up?

Selected applicants must first complete an initial consultation with the participating tattoo studio, who will then determine who is eligible for a cover-up. Selected applicants will be notified via email on Tuesday, February 20 to schedule their initial consultation with the participating tattoo studio. Once the consultation is complete, the participating studio will notify the selected recipients who have been approved for a cover-up via email.

Q. What happens next if I get selected for a cover up consultation?

Selected applicants will be put directly in touch by the applicable studio with one of their tattoo artists to begin consultation. If selected and the participating tattoo studio confirms it can complete your cover-up, you will be notified by the tattoo studio via email and will work directly with the tattoo studio to schedule a cover-up appointment. Selected recipients will be eligible to schedule their cover-up within 3 months from the consultation approval.

Q. Can I get a new tattoo, or does it need to be a cover up of an old tattoo?

The campaign is for tattoo cover ups only.

Q. Is there a cost to the tattoo?

There will be no charge for the tattoo, but selected recipients will need to make your own way to and from the tattoo studio in the city where you applied for a cover-up tattoo. As part of the eligibility requirements, if a participating tattoo studio selects you to receive a cover-up, you will be required to comply with the campaign terms & conditions [insert hyperlink] and any of the applicable studio’s terms and conditions, requirements and instructions, which may include a waiver or other agreement with the studio.

Q. When will tattooing take place?

If selected for a consultation and the tattoo studio confirms it can complete your cover-up, selected recipients will work directly with the tattoo studio to make an appointment. Appointments must be made within 3 months of their consultation approval.

Q. What size tattoo can I get?

Selected applicants will be able to discuss tattoo requirements with the participating tattoo studio during the initial consultation. The tattoo studio will ultimately advise what they are able to accomplish during your scheduled cover-up session.

Q. How old do I have to be to get a tattoo as part of the Ink Twice campaign?

You must be 18 years of age or older as of February 5, 2024 to get a tattoo and you will be asked to show a valid ID.

Q. Can I design my own tattoo?

Selected recipients will get to work with professional and talented tattoo artists to input into the design for their tattoo.

Q. Do I have to be single to get a tattoo?

The idea behind the campaign is to enable and encourage singles to have the confidence to get back out there, so yes, we’d rather if only single people apply.

Q. Does the tattoo I would like covered up have to be an ex’s name?

While the tattoo doesn’t need to be of an ex’s name, it should be something that symbolizes a past relationship. Existing tattoos with nudity, identifiable faces, or pornographic, obscene or otherwise offensive content will not be considered for a cover-up.

Q. Can I select the tattoo artist?

Artists will be determined directly by the participating tattoo studios, based on availability.

Q. What happens if I can’t make the appointment?

Tattoo recipients will have an extensive three month window from consultation approval to make their appointment. Unfortunately, if the tattoo cannot be booked within this window, the offer will be considered forfeited and become invalid. A replacement recipient will not be selected.
